How In-Browser Take-Home Pay Estimation Works
General Take-Home Pay & Salary Estimator runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. There is no sign-up, and whatever you type or open here is processed on your device instead of being sent to a server.
Estimate Your Net Take-Home Pay from Gross Salary
Convert an annual or monthly gross salary into estimated net take-home pay per month, per bi-weekly paycheck, per week and per year. Calculations execute 100% on-device in browser memory, keeping your personal compensation and tax deductions strictly confidential. Amounts are shown with a $ sign, but it works in any currency if you enter your salary and benefits in that currency.
Configurable Effective Tax Rate and Deductions
Customize estimated income tax percentages, health insurance deductions, and retirement contributions. The calculator validates input constraints, ensuring negative salaries or deductions exceeding 100% are flagged clearly. To find your effective rate, divide the total tax and social contributions on a recent payslip by the gross pay on the same payslip; tax is applied to your full gross salary, not to pay after retirement contributions.
Side-by-Side Paycheck Interval Comparison
Compare your estimated take-home pay per year, per month, per two weeks and per week to budget personal expenses.
Why processing in your browser matters
Many online tools upload your files or text to a server to process them. This one does the work on your computer or phone, so your data is not sent to us or stored anywhere else. That lowers the risk when you work with confidential material, although you should still follow your organisation's own rules. Read how this works in our Privacy Policy.
- No uploads: files are opened and saved on your device, so there is no upload or download wait.
- No account: nothing to sign up for or install.
- Free to use: no subscriptions or paywalls.
