How In-Browser Duplicate Line Removal Works
Duplicate Line Remover & List Cleaner runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. There is no sign-up, and whatever you type or open here is processed on your device instead of being sent to a server.
Deduplicate Text Lists and Spreadsheets in Your Browser
Clean duplicated email lists, URLs, keyword spreadsheets, and database rows in seconds. List processing runs 100% on-device in browser memory, ensuring your confidential customer rosters and subscriber lists are never exposed to external servers. Whole lines are compared, so two spreadsheet or database rows count as duplicates only when every column matches. The tool cannot remove duplicates based on a single column.
Flexible Deduplication Settings
Toggle case sensitivity to distinguish between uppercase and lowercase entries, trim leading/trailing whitespace before matching, and remove empty blank lines to keep output clean and uniform.
Maintains Original List Order
The deduplicator preserves the first occurrence of each unique entry in its original sequential order, so chronological logs and prioritized lists remain structured.
Cleaning Email Lists, Log Files and Exported Rows
Each line is one entry, and whole lines are compared. For an email list, paste one address per line: with Case Sensitive off (the default), Alice@Example.com and alice@example.com count as the same address and the first spelling is kept. Trim Whitespace, on by default, also treats 'apple ' and 'apple' as one. In log files only repeated lines are removed, so lines that differ only by a timestamp stay. For rows copied from a spreadsheet or a CSV file, a row is removed only when the entire row matches an earlier one; the tool does not compare a single column. The counter shows how many duplicate lines (and empty lines, if you chose to remove them) were taken out.
Why processing in your browser matters
Many online tools upload your files or text to a server to process them. This one does the work on your computer or phone, so your data is not sent to us or stored anywhere else. That lowers the risk when you work with confidential material, although you should still follow your organisation's own rules. Read how this works in our Privacy Policy.
- No uploads: files are opened and saved on your device, so there is no upload or download wait.
- No account: nothing to sign up for or install.
- Free to use: no subscriptions or paywalls.
