The generator verifies that your og:image link is an absolute URL (required by social crawlers) and omits empty image tags to prevent broken preview tiles. The preview is an approximation and the tool cannot see what a platform has cached; after adding the tags, check the card with the platform's own tool, such as Facebook's Sharing Debugger or LinkedIn's Post Inspector.
